The vision of the Hamburger Kunsthalle landscape lies in establishing a holistic relationship between the indoor spaces of the Kunsthalle and the outdoor gardens, where Nature, Art and urban environment are integrated.

The design features a sequence of well-defined spaces, bordered by lush plantings, creating a dynamic tension between structure and natural flow that forms a harmonious whole. This interplay sharpens awareness of one’s surroundings, as the zigzag pathways encourage a mindful focus on each step.

The journey becomes playful and immersive, where every turn brings a renewed attention to the next move. The spaces created by the linear arrangement can serve as exhibition garden rooms, inviting visitors to gradually explore the outdoor sculptures.
